small details I sprinkled in:
- the deceased magical girls are stored in picture frames, which can also be seen behind ultimate Madoka (representing her taking on the grief of all magical girls)
- mami’s portrait features her neck severed and the witch that killed her. Her frame features her guns
- Sayaka and Kyoko have a portrait together, with Sayaka’s witch in the bg. In one of the timelines, Kyoko kills Sayaka when she becomes a witch so that Sayaka will not be alone. Their frame features a sword and spear.
- Madoka is shown with the chains of fate weighing her down while homura tries to lift her
- time gears with kyuubeys on them in the foreground
- the bg behind Madoka at the bottom represents the dilapidated city scene of walpurgis nacht (there’s also a shadow of walpurgis in the water but it’s basically obscured oops xD)
- homuras hair is half in an unravelling braid
- Homura is framed by her own grief seed, with the grief seed itself featuring her time shield weapon in the details
